Window seats

Window seats are beautiful and functional additions to a home; they provide extra storage and seating, and can visually enlarge or add interest to small windows. They can also create cozy nooks out of dead or underutilized spaces.

Here a custom wardrobe and window bench were built around an existing fixed window. The wood was Quarter Sawn Eucalyptus. Quarter sawn lumber produces a smooth surface, and a straight, linear grain pattern.
